Widely Traveled Strike Force

God's curse on Cain has gotten a lot of press.

“When you till the ground, it shall no longer yield its strength to you. A fugitive and a vagabond you shall be on the earth.” Genesis 4:12 NKJV

We term that "The Tumbleweed Curse" when someone cannot put down roots anywhere.

It was very effectively placed on a lot of the US troops in the Vietnam War. No place was home to them.

Much less notorious is the scolding Abraham got for being too sedentary.

“Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I give it to you.” Genesis 13:17 NKJV

Why?

Was there a transfer from the land to Abraham? Or Abraham to the land? Or was it just for Abraham to see what was there?

Scripture is not clear. But there WAS a reason. God is never capricious.

Some of you have lived all over because of a curse. Some have lived all over because of "The Geographic Cure."

Others have been moved by God more frequently than is typical.

Whether you know or don't know why you were moved so much, if you have seen the hand of God on your life, moving you from land to land to land, I would value your participation in the "Widely Traveled" strike force.
