There are seven steps in establishing the government of God in a functional microcosm here on earth.

    The first is establishing legitimacy.

The second is learning to access supernatural resources.

The third is to develop working paradigms based on God’s principles.

You can access the broader teaching in the Passionate Manhood Part 3 album.

This seminar will be about one facet of the third step and that is the role of creativity.

On the one hand, the design of your brain will tip you toward conceptualizing new ideas or toward the build-out process.  Both are legitimate, but the second is dependent on the first.

Beyond brain design, however, there is the whole question of developing creativity in our children and in ourselves.  It is like musical talent.  There is a strategy to becoming an accomplished musician.

We will discuss diagnostics first.  How do you know whether you are designed by God for developing paradigms or for building them out?

Then we will explore strategies for the individual, the family and the church to create an environment where God given creativity can be unpacked.

    Some logistics:

We will break for lunch, scatter and go off-site to the community to eat.  There are eateries within walking distance.  Food and drinks are allowed in the venue, and you may eat lunch in the room.  If you snack during the sessions, please be respectful of the recording and any noise that will distract others.

All children are welcome at no charge; please let us know they are coming so we can reserve them a seat.  There is a message box on the check-out page, where you can leave their names.  There is no childcare but I am not disturbed by children playing quietly around the periphery of the venue.

The venue will be set up in theater style.  You may take notes if you wish, including using a tablet or other silent device, but NOT on a laptop, since the keyboard noise is quite distracting to those who are having a deep encounter with God.

We do plan on recording the event, will release an mp3 version some time after the event.

You will not be permitted to record on your own devices during the event.

Please do not take pictures at or of the event, other than with the knowledge and permission of the person in the picture – as in a selfie with a friend, which IS permitted – but not a picture of the gathering.

    Parking

Please park in the parking garage across the street from the venue and NOT in the street parking.  There are several mom-and-pop shops near the venue and a large part of their income depends on weekend traffic.  Because we want to be life-giving to the local community, we ask that you leave those spaces for their customers and use the parking garage.

Please note that parking is free all day on weekends and after 5 p.m. on weekdays.
