When a baby crawls, it helps develop the neurological pathways needed for reading.

But while crawling, the baby knows nothing of neurology or reading, and doesn’t care.  But in spite of the ignorance and attitude, something IS happening that has implications later in life.  While the parents can’t do the crawling for the child, they know that there is a connection between that stage of his life, and his school years.

Similarly, a great deal of spiritual authority is gained or lost, without people having any sense at all of what is going on – or caring.

This workshop is designed to give builders the skill to recognize spiritual authority that others have gained, often involuntarily.  This requires a significant new thinking skill.  Hence, we divided people up into small groups to wrestle with case studies, and to collaboratively find language for the specific authority accrued by the fictitious, unknowing person.

Full Disclosure: This is NOT a lecture.  It is a recording of the actual process of people in the workshop learning to reason a new and different way.  It will require different listening skills on your part.

The event was designed to help visionaries become better builders in the Kingdom.  It was not about finding the authority to fix the things that bother you.  The perspective was completely outward focused – how can we identify and access the existing pool of spiritual authority in our community.
