A two-year-old does not usually know how to write, and usually does not care.  He has no concept of wanting to write passionate love notes to someone in 20 years.

However, in his brain exists the capacity to learn how to write multiple languages – not that he cares.

Typically, he is forced to unpack the ability to write in one language to at least some modest degree.  A few learn to write in a second language or third, but the potential is there for most, whether they unpack it or not.

If he is visionary and ambitious, he might take the effort to learn additional languages since the resources are available in his brain and could be developed with the resources in the community.

Or, he could just live simply, with a single set of communication tools.

It is not wrong, but it limits job opportunities, diminishes the quality of overseas vacations, etc.

We have an abundance of resources already in our possession.  There are three questions.

-What are they?

-What would it cost to unpack them?

-Is there a positive cost/benefit ratio if we were to invest the time and money to unpack them?

This applies to every aspect of our lives, and the answer to those three questions will have a massive bearing on our impact in the Kingdom.

This album is about breaking free from the models of secular and religious humanism, and learning to leverage resources we have for Kingdom purposes, so we don’t just settle for being holy and powerless in the Kingdom.

Which immediately begs the question: Can you actually claim to be holy if you have made the deliberate choice to be powerless?
