For the Tribe

I think Eve was a Giver and Cain was a Giver.  Can’t prove it.  Just think God designed the dominant influence on human history to be in the Giver key of music.

Eve glitched.

God gave her a Giver son to redeem the Giver tribe of the malfeasance of the Garden.

God’s deepest desire was for Jesus to come from Cain’s line.

What would world history have been like, if Cain had leaned into the offer?

He was about ten at the time.  We went to an event together, and when the call for ministry came, he was eager to go up and receive prayer from the guy who had preached with such passion.

He was in the first third of the group.  The visiting minister started at one end of the line, went to each person, laid hands on them and prayed – until he came to my friend, whom he walked right by without even making eye contact.

A mantle of invisibility.  It marked his life for decades.

I wonder what it is like when someone who has been invisible for all their life is finally SEEN by someone of significance.  Has to be intensely wonderful.

Wonder what it was like when the carpenter from Nazareth was S.E.E.N. by John the Baptist in such a grand, grand way?!!

For millennia, war was fought on the ground.  Foot soldiers were augmented by horses, and eventually by tanks.  Blood was shed.  The land was defiled.

Then the 21st century moved warfare to the sky.  From drones to missiles, the air has been filled with the means of death.  While death still occurs primarily on the ground, and the earth is still being defiled, the atmosphere has also been desecrated by the millions of acts of destruction in and through the air.

I don’t know what the spiritual implications are to the global atmosphere and the weather, due to this defilement, but I know it is more than debris in the air.  These wars are empowering the Prince of the Power of the Air.

We have some experience and fruit from cleansing land.  It is time to restructure our skill set to learn how to establish holiness in the sky as well.
