Processing Disappointment
EVERYBODY has to process disappointment at some time in their lives. Here is a detail example of how one person processed disappointment productively.
The core issue is closing the gap between the head and the heart. In this series, the disappointment is mine, and I clearly knew a lot of “right thinking” but it took some careful walking, over a period of time, to bring resolution to my emotions.
Watching someone process an emotion can be a more effective teaching tool than abstract lectures.
