Finding Hidden Design
The first question about a child in the womb is gender. That defines a massive amount of his or her journey.
Having conceded that, there are hundreds more dynamics to that child then gender. Is this an athlete or a musician? People person or introvert? Granular or view from 30,000 feet? Impulsive or deliberate? Foodie or gamer?
And depending on who he or she turns out to be, by design, we adjust our parenting.
And this is just on the soul level.
Spiritually, there are a host of design features we need to study. Each one says something to us about God’s purposes for our children. As we recognize His fingerprints, unpack those facets of their design, and legitimize them, they are best positioned to possess their birthright.
