Vision abounds.  Some is selfish; some is noble.  Some is narrow – making money; some is noble – changing the world.

In the way of all great vision is the existing culture.  The existing culture is not necessarily wrong or bad.  It just exists.  And IF the existing culture could have achieved the vision in question, it would have done so already.

Therefore, by definition, if the leader intends to do something new, he will have to develop a culture that supports the vision.

This album is about that process.  We start with the reality of the existing culture and explore the specific steps needed to discover the needed culture and then to develop it over time, so that the culture naturally supports the vision instead of subtly warring against it.

In addition to this set of tools, we bring the unique spiritual dynamics of the Mercy Season into the discussion, showing where the grace of God is flowing so the life of God can enrich the culture you have built.

This album was released in 2017.

This is a five CD set.

If you lead or influence people, this is key.

If you’re a leader in some context (family, school, church, community, marketplace, etc) and work with people in some capacity, you’ll enjoy the paradigm shift, the concepts and the questions this offers. I came as a leader of a small virtual team and this gave me a bigger grid, new insights and also tools to apply now and in the future.

This was my first SLG event attending live and the synergy and engagement in the room was amazing! Arthur’s presentation and message also had something extra special on this one that I hadn’t encountered before on other live streams or recordings.

The foundation laid here for what the transition from Ruler season-style leadership to Mercy season looks like was great. I really enjoyed the live demos/“case studies” of 4 different people (2 women, 2 men, 4 of the redemptive gifts) who Arthur picked to unpack these concepts in real-time throughout the day. (One of the best moments was the part on the horizontal community that flips vertically!)

I liked the model presented for embracing productive pain and celebrating process and probing deeper to get to the questions on process, not product or objectives only. As a wordsmith, I loved the examples of how to language process, and languaging values on a team, to weed out those who may be a better fit in another stream.
